Where’s Wendy Destinations
Terms & Conditions
Please read before booking.
These Terms and Conditions form a binding agreement between the traveler identified on the reservation (you or Traveler) and Where’s Wendy Destinations (WWD, we, us, or our). By signing electronically, checking an acceptance box, or submitting any payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms for yourself and every traveler included in your booking for whom you are authorized to act.
1 Travel Agency Role
WWD is an independent travel advisor that arranges travel services supplied by third parties, including airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, destination management companies, transportation companies, guides, insurers, and activity providers (Suppliers). WWD does not own, manage, operate, or control those Suppliers and is not responsible for their acts, omissions, financial condition, schedule changes, service quality, or failure to provide services. Each Supplier’s own terms also apply to your booking. If a Supplier’s term conflicts with these terms, the stricter payment or cancellation restriction may apply, except where prohibited by law.
2 Prices and Reservations
Prices are quoted per person unless otherwise stated and may be based on a minimum group size, room occupancy, availability, exchange rates, taxes, and Supplier pricing. Prices and space are not guaranteed until WWD receives the required payment and confirms the reservation. WWD may correct a pricing or description error before final confirmation. If taxes, government fees, fuel charges, currency rates, or Supplier costs increase, the Traveler is responsible for any permitted additional amount. Unless expressly listed as included, airfare, baggage fees, passports, visas, gratuities, insurance, meals, personal expenses, and optional activities are not included.
3 Payments and Final Payment Deadlines
The payment schedule shown on your invoice or booking page is part of these terms. You are responsible for making every payment by its due date, whether or not a reminder is received. WWD may cancel a reservation after a missed deadline and retain all amounts that have become non-refundable. Reinstatement is not guaranteed and may require additional Supplier or administrative charges. Returned payments and disputed or reversed charges may result in cancellation.
4 Refund Window and Non Refundable Payments
Deposits are non-refundable. Installment, final payment, add-on payment, upgrade payment, single supplement, and other trip-related payment is refundable only during the 24-hour period immediately following the time that specific payment is successfully processed. A cancellation request must be received by WWD in writing at
before that 24-hour period expires.
After the applicable 24-hour period, that payment is non-refundable and non-transferable, regardless of the reason for cancellation, including illness, injury, family emergency, work obligations, financial hardship, relationship changes, fear of travel, missed transportation, failure to obtain documents, or inability to enter a destination. The 24-hour window applies separately to each individual payment and does not restart for earlier payments when a later payment is made.
This policy is subject to any refund right that cannot legally be waived and to any written exception expressly offered by WWD. If a Supplier returns money that WWD is legally or contractually required to pass to you, WWD will return the recoverable amount received, less any lawful, previously disclosed, and earned fees. WWD cannot refund money that a Supplier does not return.
5 Traveler Cancellations and Changes
All cancellation and change requests must be submitted in writing to info@wheres-wendy.com. A telephone call, social-media message, or conversation with another traveler is not sufficient. The effective date is the date and time WWD receives the written request. Name changes, substitutions, transfers, or moving funds to another trip are not permitted unless WWD approves them in writing and the Suppliers allow them. Any approved change is subject to availability and all applicable Supplier and WWD fees.
6 Supplier or WWD Changes and Cancellations
Travel arrangements may change for operational, safety, weather, governmental, or Supplier reasons. WWD and its Suppliers may adjust hotels, transportation, guides, activities, routes, departure times, or the order of an itinerary and may substitute reasonably comparable services when available. These changes do not automatically create a refund right.
If WWD cancels an entire trip before departure and does not offer a replacement, credit, or rescheduled trip that you accept, WWD will return the recoverable amounts actually received from Suppliers, together with any additional refund required by law. WWD is not responsible for non-refundable airfare or other arrangements purchased separately. If a Supplier cancels or materially changes a service, the Supplier’s remedy and applicable law will govern. WWD will reasonably assist with the request but cannot guarantee the amount or timing of a Supplier refund.
7 Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is strongly recommended and should be purchased promptly after the initial payment. Consider coverage for trip cancellation, interruption, medical care, emergency evacuation, baggage, travel delay, pre-existing conditions, and, if desired and available, Cancel For Any Reason coverage. WWD does not determine coverage or guarantee that a claim will be paid. Policy terms, exclusions, purchase deadlines, and claim decisions are controlled solely by the insurer. Declining insurance means you accept the financial risk of circumstances that prevent or interrupt travel.
8 Klarna Affirm and Similar Financing
Eligible Travelers may apply directly to Klarna, Affirm, or another independent financing provider for a payment plan. Some providers may allow an approved Traveler to generate a one-time virtual credit card, which may be used to pay an eligible WWD trip balance. Once the virtual-card payment is successfully processed, the amount is credited to the WWD reservation, and the Traveler repays the financing provider under a separate agreement.
Klarna, Affirm, and similar providers are independent third parties and are not affiliated with, owned by, or controlled by WWD. Eligibility, approval, credit inquiries, available plans, interest, fees, credit limits, repayment schedules, late-payment consequences, and virtual-card availability are determined solely by the provider. WWD cannot guarantee approval or any particular financing terms.
Using third-party financing does not extend a WWD payment deadline or change WWD’s cancellation, refund, transfer, or other booking terms. A payment made through a financing provider becomes non-refundable and non-transferable after the same 24-hour period described above. If a refund is authorized, WWD will return it to the original payment method when possible; the financing provider decides how it is applied to your account. Financing interest, fees, and charges may remain payable and may not be refundable. Failure to repay the financing provider does not cancel the trip or create a refund obligation for WWD.
9 Air Transportation
Unless WWD expressly confirms otherwise in writing, airfare is not included. Flight schedules, seats, baggage rules, check-in requirements, and delays are controlled by the airline. Travelers must verify names, dates, airports, and schedules immediately after receiving flight information and again before departure. Names must match government-issued travel documents exactly. WWD is not responsible for missed connections, separate-ticket risks, airline schedule changes, denied boarding, baggage issues, or additional costs caused by air disruptions. Any mandatory airline refund rights remain governed by applicable law and the airline’s rules.
10 Passports Visas and Entry Requirements
Each Traveler is solely responsible for obtaining and carrying a valid passport, visa, vaccination record, consent document, and any other documentation required by each destination and transit country. The Traveler must verify current requirements with the relevant government authorities. Many countries require a passport to remain valid for at least six months after travel and to contain blank pages. WWD is not responsible for denied boarding or entry, detention, removal, or losses resulting from incomplete, inaccurate, damaged, or expired documents.
11 Health Safety and Accessibility
Travelers must evaluate whether they are medically and physically able to participate. You are responsible for disclosing, before booking, any mobility, dietary, medical, or accessibility need that may affect the arrangements. WWD will communicate reasonable requests to Suppliers but cannot guarantee accommodation. WWD does not provide medical advice or medical care. Travelers must follow applicable safety rules and public-health requirements and are responsible for medications, medical equipment, and related costs.
12 Rooms Roommates and Occupancy
Package prices may depend on the selected room occupancy. A Traveler who books double or shared occupancy is responsible for identifying an eligible roommate by the stated deadline. If a roommate cancels, fails to pay, or otherwise becomes unavailable, the remaining Traveler may be required to pay the applicable single supplement or revised occupancy price. WWD is not responsible for roommate compatibility and does not guarantee roommate matching unless expressly agreed in writing.
13 Group Conduct
Travelers must behave lawfully and respectfully and follow reasonable instructions from WWD, the group leader, and Suppliers. A Traveler may be removed from an activity or trip, without refund, when a Supplier or WWD reasonably determines that the Traveler’s behavior is dangerous, disruptive, abusive, discriminatory, unlawful, or materially interferes with the group. The Traveler is responsible for all resulting costs, including alternate lodging or transportation home.
14 Force Majeure
WWD is not liable for delay, change, cancellation, or loss caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disaster, epidemic or pandemic, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor dispute, government action, border closure, transportation failure, utility or technology outage, Supplier insolvency, or similar event. WWD will use reasonable efforts to seek available Supplier remedies, but refunds are limited to recoverable amounts actually returned by Suppliers and any additional amount required by law. Travelers remain responsible for costs not covered by Suppliers or insurance.
15 Personal Property and Assumption of Risk
Travel involves inherent risks, including transportation accidents, illness, crime, political instability, unfamiliar environments, and participation in excursions or physical activities. By booking, you voluntarily accept the ordinary and foreseeable risks of travel. You are responsible for safeguarding passports, money, electronics, luggage, and other personal property. WWD is not responsible for lost, stolen, delayed, or damaged property except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
16 Limitation of Responsibility
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WWD is responsible only for its own negligent acts or omissions in providing travel-advisory services and is not liable for a Supplier’s acts or omissions. WWD is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses, including lost wages, lost enjoyment, or separately purchased travel. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
17 Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
Contact WWD promptly at info@wheres-wendy.com if you believe a payment was processed incorrectly. By submitting payment, you confirm that the charge is authorized and that the services, cancellation policy, and non-refundable terms were disclosed before payment. You agree not to initiate a chargeback merely to avoid the agreed cancellation policy. This section does not prevent a good-faith dispute concerning fraud, duplicate billing, services not provided, or another right protected by law. WWD may provide the signed agreement, invoice, payment history, and communications to the card issuer or financing provider in response to a dispute.
18 Electronic Communications and Notices
You consent to receiving booking records, invoices, notices, and trip updates electronically using the email address or telephone number provided. You are responsible for maintaining accurate contact information and reviewing communications. Notices to WWD must be sent to
. A notice is considered received when it arrives in that inbox, subject to proof of delivery.
19 Accuracy and Traveler Review
Review every invoice, itinerary, name, date, price, room selection, and included service promptly. Report an error in writing within 24 hours after receiving the document. You are responsible for losses caused by information you supplied incorrectly or by failing to report an obvious error promptly. Website photographs and descriptions are illustrative; room design, views, vehicles, and other details may vary.
20 Privacy
WWD may collect and share the personal information reasonably necessary to arrange and administer travel, including with Suppliers, payment processors, insurers, and governmental authorities. Information may be processed in countries with different privacy protections. WWD will not sell personal information. Do not send full payment-card details by email or text.
21 Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before filing a claim, the parties agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute through written communication. Unless applicable law requires another location, any court proceeding must be filed in a court with jurisdiction in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Either party may use an eligible small-claims court. Nothing in this section waives a non-waivable consumer right.
22 General Terms
These terms, the invoice, the trip description, and any Supplier terms incorporated into the booking constitute the agreement concerning the reservation. A written trip-specific term controls over a conflicting general term. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. WWD’s failure to enforce a provision once is not a waiver. These terms may be updated for future bookings, but the version accepted at the time of booking controls unless a change is required by law or agreed in writing.
23 Traveler Acceptance
By signing, checking the online acceptance box, or submitting payment, I confirm that I have reviewed the trip details and accept these Terms and Conditions. I specifically understand that each payment other than a deposit has its own 24-hour refund window and becomes non-refundable and non-transferable after that window, except as required by law or expressly agreed by WWD in writing.
